How Can headache And Dizziness After An Injury be Treated?

My husband suffered a concussion from a car accident about one month ago. He has been experiencing headaches, nausea, dizziness, and has been following up with a doctor. Today, just a while ago, he developed a circle of blood in the white part of his eye and has had a headache all day today that has not been resolved with OTC medicine. Should we be concerned and should he seek emergency care? YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I would recommend a visit to a doctor immediately.
Though blood shot eyes are common immediately after a concussion or brain injury, it is highly unlikely to get it 1 month after the injury.

So I would suggest taking him to a doctor and gt it examined to rule out any fresh site of injury.

Hope this answers your question, thank you.
